The Spreading of Tsunami Debris
Influenced by ocean currents, debris from the 3/11 tsunami have been seen in the Pacific Ocean and are now being found on the shores of Pacific Islands and on the West Coast of North America. While the debris contains a variety of items that were swept away during the tsunami, some of the most notable items include personal effects (like slippers and stuffed animals), and even a house.
