Tick Tock Clock, the class is busy. Tick Tock Clock, the students, dizzy. Two fourty-four and the clock ticks again. Thirty more minutes ‘til another weekend. All is smooth and moving along One minute passes, we hum a song. It’s two fourty-five, my pencil drops. The classroom clock ticks its last tock— Growls from the earth, The air is sucked out We manage to escape though, looking like a rout Finally home, I turn on the news Clocks flung by the waves read: Two fourty-six.
