English Description

Japanese rock stars Keisuke Kuwata and Masaharu Fukuyama and about 50 other musicians and performing artists will release a song for the region devastated by the March 11 Great East Japan Earthquake.

Proceeds from "Let's Try Again," which will be released April 20 through music websites, will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society, organizers said.

Kuwata and several close acquaintances gathered artists from the same management agency soon after the quake to discuss plans for a charity song.

Kuwata, frontman for the ageless Southern All Stars band, was the main composer of the song. Other members of the Southern All Stars, who have temporarily suspended activities, will join.
