I have lived in my home in Tomioka town even since the town became part of the evacuation zone due to the radiation leak from the Fukushima Dai Ichi nuclear power plant. And I've been rescuing and taking care of animals like cats, dogs, cows. I can't imagine what's going to happen to me next, but I believe it's my battle to stay here. 福島第１原発の事故で立ち入り禁止となった警戒区域の富岡町に留まり、犬や猫、牛など動物の保護活動をやっています。
先は見えませんが、ここに留まることが自分なりの闘いだと考えます。
現在は、牛舎から逃げ出した牛を管理して、雄牛を去勢するなど繁殖を防ぎながらも、これらの動物を最後まで見届けたいと思います。
