Item Description
FoE Japan is an international NGO that deals with global environmental issues. They organized the “Poka-Poka Project,” inviting families in the Watari District, Fukushima City, to spend a few days at hotels near Tsuchiyu Hot Springs. Watari was polluted with high levels of radiation, and the project allowed children to spend time away while helping the local economy recover from the nuclear disaster. This page calls for donations for the second term of the project.
