Tohoku Disaster Relief Activities|SECOND HARVEST JAPAN

Submitted by RIJS on
Item Description
The disaster in Tohoku on March 11 caused unprecedented damage and challenged our origanization. While maintaining our regular operations, we responded to the needs in Tohoku and doubled the volume of food that we delivered the previous year. We continue to be actively involved in the region, providing care packages to those in need, establishing a food safety-net in Ishinomaki, and providing assistance to other NPOs and organizations operating in the region.
