Amy Cameron was an Assistant Language Teacher in Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture from 1998-2000. She returned in August 28-September 4, 2011 and kept a blog of her experiences. Here she writes about visiting the Namie town offices, full of evacuees seeking town services. Due to proximity to the Daiichi nuclear plant, Namie’s town offices and schools were now located in Nihonmatsu.
