Ashinaga disbursed the total amount of the money received in the form of anonymous donations to provide emergency relief grants (2.8 million yen) to more than 2,000 children, including newborns, students of all education levels. Furthermore, a portion of the funds have helped finance housing subsidies, ranging from 300 to 500 thousand yen, to each of 168 orphaned students whose home had been damaged by the disaster.
