Item Description
Onagawa is a small fishing town that was devastated by the 2011 tsunami. Close to 10% of the population was lost as well as the central infrastructure of the town. With thousands of people still in temporary housings, and land deemed uninhabitable, recovery is a long process. There is a 3 year plan to raise the town before re-building is even possible. In this setting, many are struggling with the loss of community as well as a loss of hope for their future. But this is not the end of the story.
