Animal Rescue System Fund|Why Fukushima needs a spay clinic

Submitted by RIJS on
Item Description
Due to the lack of an initial response to using animal birth control in the disaster-affected area by organizations powered by donations for the animals, there was an animal population explosion. The more than 100 local caregivers and passionate volunteers who had been rescuing pets from Fukushima’s caution zone, quickly faced the harsh reality that they no longer would be able to take in the staggering number of kittens and pups being born in the disaster hit area.
