2014 learning about Fukushima

I am a student in Tokyo learning about the disasters of 3/11. On March 11, 2011 my dad was in Sendei on a business trip. I woke up to news of the earthquake and my family and I were unaware of my dad's location and if he was alright. We didn't hear from him for 24 hours following the earthquake. We got a message that he was ok but we never heard anything after the tsunami, making us wonder if my dad was ok. We finally heard from him and he had been taken up into the mountains to one of his translators house where he stayed for two days. He was finally able to get out of Sendei and fly home to us in the U.S.A.
