I am studying about small businesses in Fukushima and how the area is recovering after the 3/11 disaster. Currently, the Japanese government (specifically the the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) is offering incentives for small businesses and larger corporations to move to Fukushima. This includes subsidies and tax cuts for as as much as three-fourths of the initial costs for firms building new factories in Fukushima Prefecture.
