English Description
I was in 8th grade when the earthquake hit Tokyo. It was probably the biggest earthquake I have ever felt, the shelves started shaking and the blinds started to fall off the windows. Everyone started to get under the table and no one was laughing about going under the table because everyone knew how serious it was. We were lead out outside when the earthquake started to get smaller. We could hear the kids and the high schoolers crying, when someone couldn't reach there family they started to sob. All the AU phones were working because there weren't a lot of people who owned AU phones. I couldn't reach anyone in my family so I started to worry about them, what if something happened to my brother?or my mom? Some people rode the bus home but since I didn't live downtown I couldn't ride the bus. My friend lived right behind the school so I stayed at her house until my grandpa and mom came to pick me up. I was super glad to know that they were safe.
