To support the victims Sendai Diocese Support Center (SDSC) was set up immediately after the earthquake and started the operation.In April, 2011 Catholic Tokyo Volunteer Center (CTVC) was set up to organize volunteers from Tokyo metropolitan area.CTVC has been linking volunteers with SDSC.
