Submitted by RIJS on
Item Description
We are an online community working to help the people of Shichigahama, Miyagi prefecture. The town, like many others along the north-east coast of Japan was badly affected by the earthquake and tsunami. Shichigahama means ‘seven beach town’, hence the name of our organisation. It was started by Angus Miyaji whose mother lives in the area and survived the earthquake and subsequent tsunami.
