From May 3rd-7th, over Golden Week in Japan, I was part of a combined volunteer group (male and female) of 90 Japanese students and 35 international students from over 20 different countries. We traveled north on buses provided by the Seibu Lions up to Ishinomaki, Miyagi prefecture, as student volunteers for the 'The ROAD Project."
