A magnitude 9.0 earthquake at a depth of approximately 25 km and tsunami hit along Sanriku offing, near the east coast of Honshu, Japan at 2:46 pm on March 11, 2011. The magnitude of the main shock is the largest in Japan history. It already passed 12 days after this tragic natural disaster. Today the Asian Disaster Reduction Center (ADRC) reports latest situation as following.
