On 11th March 2011, a great earthquake and huge tsunami attacked the Fukushima Daiichi (First) Nuclear Power Plant which is located from Okuma-machi through Futaba-machi in Fukushima Prefecture. All the electric power shut off, resulting in a huge meltdown. In order to release the pressure inside, high temperature vapor filled with radioactive substance was vented at 10:17 a.m. on 12th March. However, it was found that the vent had no filtration equipment.
