本研究では、沿岸部住民の津波避難行動に着目し、2008年と2011年の2度にわたって千葉県 御宿町を対象とした避難行動に関するアンケート調査を実施した。そして、想定津波およ び東日本大震災直後の避難経路についての空間的な比較分析を行い、①標高、②海岸線か らの距離、③想定浸水域内の残存者数の観点から考察した。その結果、実際の避難行動に おける多様性、自動車による避難行動の多さ、避難距離の長さ、浸水域に留まる事例の多 さ、などが明らかになった。
