Presentation to 8th Graders
English Description
I gave a presentation to 8th Graders to spread awareness on the 3/11 Earthquake and the Fukushima Daiichi Disaster. We divided our presentation into three components: about the earthquake, the nuclear disaster, and the tsunami. I was tasked with enlightening my younger generation on how a nuclear power plant works in order to establish a core knowledge on this issue. In the simple terms, I talked about the different types of reactors and explained the process of nuclear fission.
