Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami 5 Years Later

5 years ago on March 11, 2011, I was in my high school's art room when the earthquake happened. At first, it seemed like a small earthquake, like a tiny shake, but then it started growing and the next thing I knew, the art room was vigorously shaking horizontally for nearly 5 minutes. Our class evacuated to the football field and we stayed there for 2 hours. The teachers then gave us the okay to ride the bus home. Usually, the bus ride takes 45 mins; however, on March 11th, it took 6 hours to get home.
