English Description
In 2012, the Urban Renaissance Agency signed a cooperation agreement with Miyako City, Iwate Prefecture, regarding reconstruction and development projects, and is responsible for three reconstruction support projects in the two areas of Taro, Kuwagasaki, and Koganji, which were the hardest hit in the city. In collaboration with the local government, the agency is promoting urban development that does not rely solely on seawalls. The two projects in the Taro area were completed this spring, and the time for handover has finally arrived.
