ISHINOMAKI, Miyagi -- On the Oshika Peninsula here, where the March 11 tsunami destroyed many fishing boats and aquaculture farms, local marine farmers are beginning to consider switching from the individual- and family-managed business models they have followed to new, joint-management operations in order to cover the massive costs of almost restarting their businesses from scratch.
