The resulting project of that mentorship was the beach side pavilion at Kesennuma, innaugurated in late 2013. The pavilion is part of "Home for All", the initiative led by Toyo Ito that brought together top Japanese architects to assist victims of the 2011 Tsunami in Nothern Japan."
