Submitted by MEFH on
Item Description
People with developmental disorders such as autism tend to suffer more during disasters, and the Kumamoto Earthquake is no exception. Since the fatal quakes last month, families with such children have been avoiding public shelters out of fear that their youngsters might have problems coping. Despite the chance of more quakes, they often have no choice but to stay in their homes or sleep in their vehicles.
