浮船の里は、南相馬市小高区で暮らしてきた主婦三人が、2013年4月に立ち上げたNPO法人です。紅梅山浮舟城と言われた小高城にちなんで、いつしか浮船の里と呼ばれるようになった小高。この私達の故郷・小高は、福島第一原発から20km圏内に位置するため、人が住めない場所になっています。避難指示解除準備区域とされた2012年4月からは、日中は自由に出入りすることができるようになりましたが、今なお、特別な場合を除いて、宿泊はできません。
Ukifune no Sato is a non-profit organization established in April 2013 by three housewives who had lived in Odaka Ward, Minamisoma City. Odaka, which came to be called Ukifune no Sato (Village of Floating Ships) after Odaka Castle, also known as Koubaiyama Ukifune Castle, is located within 20km of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, making it an uninhabitable area. Since April 2012, when it was designated as a zone preparing for the lifting of evacuation orders, it has become possible to freely enter and exit the area during the day, but even now, overnight stays are still not permitted except in special circumstances.
