UNIQLO began offering support in the immediate wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake. We started by thinking about public expectations of the company and what we could do to help. We eventually came to the conclusion that our customers throughout Japan were counting on us. So we set up the UNIQLO Recovery Assistance Project to continue to offer support to people in the parts of the country that were affected by the disaster.
