Harvard Workshop at ASIJ

Item Description
A workshop to teach us about the JDA. I have been going to English Circle sessions for the past year or two now and every weekend that I go, I get the privaledge to see the children, who were affected by the 3/11 earthquake, happily run around and learn english. I was living in japan 7 years ago when the earthquake happened and it was one of the most fearful moments of my life. Glasses were crashing everywhere, neighbors and alarms were screaming, I can barely fathom the difficulties that people much closer to the disaster must have been experiencing. I remember returning home from the airport, disappointed because we could not get a flight to leave the country. We were all scared of radiation in the drinking water that we stored bottles and buckets of water just for drinking purposes. I want to do whatever I can to help the kids because I have seen how the earthquake affected everyone. It will be an intuitive, interactive experience which can broaden my understanding of the effect of the earthquake on the citizens.
