Japanese Red Cross Society continues to provide assistance for people affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami
English Description
Japanese Red Cross Society conducted reconstruction operations due to Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami and Fukushima nuclear power plant accident. Regarding the power plant accident, the Society was developing code of conduct in case of nuclear emergency. Also, the Society delivered whole body counter which measure internal radiation exposure, and becquerel monitor which measure radioactivity in foods.
