長岡赤十字病院は、2004年の新潟県中越地震や2011年の東日本大震災など、同病院の救護班が関わった9件の災害救護活動について記載した「救護活動記録」を、2012年に発行しました。この資料は、同記録の東日本大震災の部分を抜粋したものです。
東日本大震災においては、発災後2時間以内にDMATを福島県に派遣したのをはじめ、DMAT3班、救護班14班、こころのケアチーム11班を、石巻市、釜石市、大槌町、福島市、会津若松地区、南相馬市に派遣しました。活動時の写真や職員からの寄稿などが掲載されています。
The Nagaoka Red Cross Hospital mobilized its relief teams during nine disasters including the Mid Niigata Prefecture Earthquake in 2004 and the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami in 2011. A DMAT departed for Fukushima Prefecture from the hospital within two hours after the outset of the earthquake. Including this dispatch, the hospital sent 3 DMATs, 14 relief teams and 11 psychosocial teams to Ishinomaki City, Kamaishi City, Otsuchi Town, Fukushima City, Aizuwakamatsu Area and Minamisoma City in total.
