The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the Austrian Red Cross Society organized the CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) emergency preparedness workshop in Vienna, Austria, on 5 - 9 December 2016.
This is the presentation prepared by IAEA and presented in the session of "Medical Aspects of RN events." It describes the basic concepts of and requirements for the management of medical consequences of a radiological emergency.
