1986年4月26日にチェルノブイリ原子力発電所が爆発し、ウクライナ、ベラルーシ、ロシアの住民が影響を受けました。1990年に国際赤十字・赤新月社連盟（IFRC）と被災国の赤十字社は、チェルノブイリ人道支援プログラム（CHARP）を立ち上げ、2012年まで被災者を支援する活動を行ってきました。
この企画展では、22年間におよぶCHARPの経験から学んだことを取りまとめ、IFRCの原子力・放射線災害に対する備えや対応能力を構築することに資するために作られたレビュー報告書を紹介しています。
On April 26, 1986, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine exploded. This accident affected residents in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. In 1990, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and Red Cross Societies of affected countries launched Chernobyl Humanitarian Assistance and Rehabilitation Programme (CHARP) and provided assistance activities for the affected people until 2012.
This special webpage introduces a review report which is to organize what was learned from the CHARP experiences and contribute to building the IFRC’s preparedness and capacity to respond to nuclear and radiological disasters.
