2015年4月6日～24日までの間、成田赤十字病院の服部信看護師とさいたま赤十字病院の西村一美看護師が活動に取り組んだ。今回からは『事前研修』を受けて現状についての理解を深めるなど、日赤はいっそう町民に寄り添った支援活動を行うための努力を重ねている。
服部看護師は、「家庭訪問や電話でのやり取りで『問題ないよ』『元気ですよ』などの返事を聞くことも多くなり、新しい生活の基盤を作ることによって、町民の皆さんが困難を乗り越え、前向きに生きていこうとしていることがうかがえます」と話す。西村看護師は「健康調査の際に、『浪江町民のことを日赤や国民は忘れてはいない』と伝えてきました。それが皆さんの前向きな気持ちや、がんばっていこうという気持ちにつながっていくことを願っています。」と語った。
From April 6 to 24, 2015, Mr. Makoto Hattori from Japanese Red Cross Narita Hospital and Ms. Kazumi Nishimura from Saitama Red Cross Hospital worked on the health consultation program. From this round, JRCS nurses who work on the health consultation program receive a special lecture to understand more about the current situation of the people of Namie before they are dispatched. The JRCS is making efforts to provide a closer assistance for them.
Mr. Hattori says that by hearing from people saying more often: "I have no problem now." or "I am fine," I felt they are trying to overcome their difficulties and live positively by having their new living basis here. When Ms. Nishimura provided health consultation to the people of Namie, she told each of them: “The JRCS and Japanese people never forget about you.” She looks back on her term and says with expectations, “Hopefully the message will encourage them to be positive or keep going.”
