原発事故の影響で、沿岸部の住民は会津若松市に避難し、学校も移転しました。しかし、受け入れ地域の学校給食センターの備品・食器の不足が生じたため、日本赤十字社は、海外救援金を利用して、給食センターの備品および食器などを整備しました。
English Title
Funded by international donations, cooking implements and tableware for school lunch were provided to schools which evacuated to Aizuwakamatsu City to help them to provide school meals for children. (2)
English Description
The nuclear accident forced residents on the coast to evacuate their homes to Aizuwakamatsu City and relocated schools. School kitchens were lacking cooking implements and dishes for school lunch, so the Japanese Red Cross Society provided them using international donations.
