Opening ceremony of Iitate Village Elementary School held at a temporary gymnasium in Kawamata Town where the school evacuated to.
English Description
The Japanese Red Cross Society used international donations to subsidize the construction costs for a temporary gymnasium shared among three pre-fabricated temporary elementary schools of Iitate Village, which were built on the borrowed ground in Kawamata Town. The photo shows the joint opening ceremony of the three elementary schools of Iitate Village held at the gymnasium.
