2016年1月4日～1月29日までの間、長岡赤十字病院の高橋恵子看護師と高槻赤十字病院の梅本美紀看護師が活動に取り組みました。
高橋看護師は、ある女性から「3月11日が近づくと心が落ち着かず、一人でいると不安です」という話を聞くと、「浪江町民の気持ちはいまだに平穏とほど遠いことがよく分かりました。」と感じたと振り返りました。梅本看護師は、娘さんとの同居について触れた女性の話を例にあげ、「浪江町民は震災によって、家族と同居するか、独居するかなど、状況に応じて難しい選択をせざるを得ない生活をしていることを、全国の皆さんに知ってほしい。」と語りました。
From January 4, 2016 to January 29, 2016, Ms. Keiko Takahashi from the Nagaoka Red Cross Hospital and Ms. Miki Umemoto from the Takatsuki Red Cross Hospital were involved in the health consultation program.
Ms. Takahashi heard from a women saying “As March 11 is coming around, I am nervous and feel most nervous when I am home alone.” This made her feel that “Listening to the evacuees talking about such hard experiences, I understood well that their minds are still far away from being calm.” Ms. Umemoto said by referring a woman's decision whether she lives with her daughter or lives alone, “The earthquake and tsunami have been forced the people of Namie to make difficult decisions about whether they live with their families or live alone, depending on their situations. I want the public across the country to know about that.”
