東日本大震災で避難した人は仮設住宅などに入居しましたが、生活に必要なものが津波で流されたり、原発事故の影響で着の身着のままで避難したため、生活に必要な最低限の物も揃っていませんでした。日本赤十字社は、海外の赤十字を通して寄せられた海外救援金を使って、これらの被災者の生活に必要な家電6点セットを寄贈しました。

English Description
Evacuees due to the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami moved to temporary housing. Their houses were washed away by the Tsunami, or they evacuated with only clothes they were wearing due to the nuclear accident, there were no minimum items for living in temporary housing. Therefore, by utilizing international relief fund donated through Red Cross Societies around the world, the JRSC provided electric household appliance sets for affected people to restart their lives.
