日本赤十字社と国際赤十字・赤新月社連盟 (IFRC) は、2014年10月27日から30日まで福島市において、「第3回原子力災害対策関係国赤十字社会議」を開催することとなった。世界17か国の姉妹社からの参加者などが被災地を訪問した後、被災者の支援に必要な行動指針「原子力・放射線災害における事前対策および応急対応ガイドライン」を策定し、2015年11月の連盟総会での決議を目指す。
Japanese Red Cross Society and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) will hold "The Third Reference Group Meeting on Nuclear & Radiological Emergency Preparedness" in Fukushima from October 27 to 30, 2014. Participants from Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies of 17 countries will visit the affected area and then discuss "Nuclear and Radiological Emergency Preparedness and Response Guidelines", a code of conduct necessary for Red Cross to provide assistance for disaster survivors. They will continue to work on the guidelines for resolution at the General Assembly in November 2015.
