Fukushima Red Cross Hospital is located in Fukushima Prefecture which was affected by the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident. Soon after the accident, the Japanese Red Cross Society temporarily ceased to send its relief teams to Fukushima Prefecture from other prefectures. In the midst of the circumstances, the relief teams of the Fukushima Red Cross Hospital continued to provide assistance for the survivors in Fukushima Prefecture.
