日本赤十字社は、東日本大震災発生直後から被災者の支援活動を開始しました。しかし福島第一原発事故発生時には、原子力災害に対する備えがなかったことからこの活動に混乱が生じ、福島県においては十分な支援ができませんでした。混乱を極めた事故発生当初から復興支援に至るまでの、赤十字の使命をかけた6か月間の活動を、東日本大震災関連の情報と合わせて、時系列で紹介しています。
The Japanese Red Cross Society (JRCS) began its relief activities immediately after the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. However they got confused in their activities and could not provide enough activities when the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident occurred due to the lack of preparedness for nuclear disasters. From the turmoil period following the outset of the accident to the start of JRCS recovery assistance, the JRCS worked hard on its activities for six months under its mission. This special webpage chronologically describes the JRCS’s activities and the events/facts regarding the earthquake and tsunami during the six months.
