2014年7月7日から8月8日までの間、八戸赤十字病院の小笠原友美看護師が活動に取り組んだ。浪江町には当面帰ることができず、いわき市内に家を建てたという方が多い中で、「町内に残っている家が気になって片付けに通っている」とか、「町に行けるようになったら、ぜひ帰りたい」という声もたくさん聞いた。一方、いわき市外に避難している人の中には訪問する人もなく、支援も受けにくいという方がいる。
From July 7 to August 8, 2014, Tomomi Ogasawara, a nurse from the Hachinohe Red Cross Hospital, worked on the health consultation program. Many people who had evacuated Namie to Iwaki built new houses in Iwaki. However, Ms. Ogasawara heard many of them saying, “We keep thinking about the house we left in Namie and sometimes go back there to clean the house,” or “we want to return to Namie if it becomes possible.” On the other hand, for other Namie people who are living in places other than Iwaki, they have no person to visit them, and less assistance reaches these evacuees.
