This is about evaluation results of medical relief activities conducted by the JRCS during the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. The results are referred to in the evaluation report. The JRCS's medical relief activities are highly evaluated because they were quickly mobilized, their activity scale was large, their actual activities in the past gave the survivors a sense of security during the disaster and their activity module was self-contained. However, the report also refers to issues such as cooperation with other organizations, confusion in its internal chain of command and response when the nuclear accident occurred in Fukushima.
