発災から2週間が経過し、被災者に対するこころのケアの重要性を感じていました。
This is part of a report about relief activities conducted by the Japanese Red Cross Otsu Hospital during the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. This part is about relief activities by Team Takeichi that provided mobile clinic services in Aizuwakamatsu area.
The team members were given lectures about radiation by physicians and radiological technologists who were dispatched from Japanese Red Cross atomic-bomb survivors' hospitals in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Then, they were provided personal dosimeters and instructed to measure their radiation exposure dose. They were also instructed to hand their dosimeters to their replacement team and tell them the content of the lectures. It was two weeks after the outset of the earthquake and the team members felt the importance of providing psychological care to the survivors.
