長浜赤十字病院が発行した東日本大震災の記録集のⅢ章の、第3班の活動記録の抜粋です。第3班は、会津地域（会津若松市、会津美里町、猪苗代町）の避難所の巡回診療を実施しました。夜は新潟市に泊まり、毎日会津地域に通って活動しました。
浪江町、富岡町からの避難者が多く集まっている避難所での巡回診療も求められました。しかし、日赤救護班は放射能汚染のスクリーニングを終えている人が救護対象となっており、そこでの避難者全員がスクリーニングを受けているわけではなかったため、この段階での巡回診療は困難でした。

This excerpt is about relief activities conducted by the hospital's third relief team. The team provided mobile clinic services at evacuation centers in Aizu Area (Aizuwakamatsu City, Aizumisato Town and Inawashiro Town). They stayed overnight in Niigata City, which is far from the area, and traveled to the Aizu Area every day.
They were requested to provide mobile clinic services at evacuation centers where many people evacuated from Namie Town and Tomioka Town. However, the relief activities by JRCS relief team were for survivors who had been already screened for radioactive contamination. Not all of the evacuees at the evacuation centers were screened yet, and it was difficult for the relief team to provide their relief activities at that time.
