English Description
This report explains the assistance that the JRCS provided for the survivors from March 29, 2011 to April 12, 2011. During the first one month from the earthquake, the JRCS focused on emergency health management and provision of emergency relief supplies. For the time to come, the JRCS will focus on early recovery and recovery of social welfare services. It was announced that the total amount of the international donations reached 50 billion yen (about 600 million dollars) as of April 8, 2011.
