English Description
From 21-22 July 2016, the JRCS held the FY 2016 First JRCS Meeting of Radiation Emergency Medical Care Advisors. During the meeting, Dr. Akira Miyata, Vice Director of the Japanese Red Cross (JRC) Kumamoto Hospital, gave a report presentation about how the hospital accepted medical support from other JRC hospitals across Japan during the response to the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake. This report is expected to help the JRCS to consider assistance for an affected hospital in the event of a nuclear disaster.
