福島の復興と防災に共に取り組むために2015年に発表された「福島県と日本赤十字社との復興、防災対策等に関する共同宣言」に基づき、「ふくしま防災フェア2016」が、福島県、日本赤十字社福島県支部、ふくしま防災フェア実行委員会の共催により初めて開催されました。日頃、防災に触れる機会の少ない親子連れや子どもたちが、気軽に「防災」を見て、触れ、学ぶ場となることを目的としています。
日赤福島県支部のブースでは、救急法や幼児安全法の体験会などが行われました。

Fukushima Disaster Prevention Fair 2016: Hands-on experience of JRCS Child Safety Course
English Description
For the purpose of collaboration for the recovery and disaster prevention in Fukushima, the Fukushima Prefectural Government and the JRCS signed a “Joint Declaration regarding Revitalization and Disaster Preparedness” in 2015. Based on this declaration, the first disaster prevention event titled "Fukushima Disaster Prevention Fair 2016" was co-hosted by the Fukushima Prefectural Government, the JRCS Fukushima Chapter and a working committee for the fair. Families and children have few opportunities to think about disaster prevention. This event was held aimed at providing them with opportunities to drop by this kind of event and see, touch and learn disaster prevention and disaster risk reduction.
At a booth of the JRCS Fukushima Chapter, hands-on experience of first aid course and child safety course were provided.
