The 3rd Asia Pacific National Societies Disaster Management Conference: Participants from National Societies in the Asia Pacific region
English Description
Based on the five-year strategy of the IFRC, the 3rd Asia Pacific National Societies Disaster Management Conference was held in Seoul, Korea in September 2016 to discuss disaster management strategy in the Asia Pacific region. During the conference, the participants looked back on 10-year disaster reduction management by the National Societies in the region and discussed a new Asia Pacific National Societies DRM Strategy 2016 - 2020.
The conference was joined by as many as more than 80 participants from 33 National Societies of the Asia Pacific region in charge of disaster response and disaster prevention and from the IFRC.
