平成28年度佐賀県原子力防災訓練での二次被ばく医療訓練において放射能汚染拡大を防ぐ養生を行う様子

On October 10, 2016, a large-scale nuclear disaster drill took place in Saga Prefecture in cooperation with Fukuoka and Nagasaki Prefectures. During the drill, an exercise for secondary radiation emergency medical care was also held. The exercise scenario was about providing decontamination procedures to an injured person with contamination due to an accident at the Genkai Nuclear Power Plant and transporting the patient to an advanced radiation emergency medicine support center of the Nagasaki University Hospital. At the Japanese Red Cross Karatsu Hospital designated as a secondary radiation emergency hospital, a special team who was on standby to accept the patient and the hospital staff cooperated in protecting the traffic flows of the transportation inside the hospital, a treatment room and necessary equipment.
