日本赤十字社（日赤）は、東日本大震災においては発生直後から被災地における救護活動を開始しましたが、直後に発生した福島第一原発事故により、一時的に福島県から撤退を余儀なくされました。その後活動は再開されましたが、救護活動を十分に行えなかったという反省が残りました。
赤十字原子力災害情報センターでは、福島第一原発事故発生時の日赤の救護活動について、デジタルアーカイブ上で企画展として公開してきました。これらの企画展へのアクセスとサマリを、ここにまとめました。
Immediately after the outset of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, the Japanese Red Cross Society (JRCS) began relief activities in the affected areas. However, the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident (Fukushima Daiichi accident) that followed the earthquake and tsunami forced the JRCS to leave Fukushima Prefecture temporarily. Soon, JRCS relief activities were re-started, but the JRCS regrets that it failed to provide enough relief activities in Fukushima.
The Red Cross Nuclear Disaster Resource Center compiled and published the JRCS's relief activities during the Fukushima Daiichi accident on its Digital Archives as special webpages. This webpage will give the archives' readers access to all of them and the summaries.
